At artsaleroom.com we make every effort to ensure your artwork gets to you quickly, safely and in the most cost effective way possible. To this end, we have several delivery services available and, where possible, you can choose how you would like your order to be delivered. Please note, however, that the delivery of your order may be restricted to a particular service depending on the size, weight and chosen destination of the package. We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 24-48 hours however we do ask for your patience during busy periods.

Your order will be packed and dispatched, provided:

  • The artwork you have chosen is in stock
  • The delivery address has been verified
  • Payment has been approved

We will send you an initial email confirming receipt of your order; then a further email confirming that your order is ready for dispatch along with your shipping reference number. Where a piece of art is not in stock, we will advise you of the anticipated time for delivery (if such item will be available in future). Orders can be delivered to either business or residential addresses, however all packages will require a signature on receipt of delivery. It is customary for the dispatch companies we use to leave a notification card with their contact information if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery, however this may not always be the case. artsaleroom.com can not take responsibility if a notification card is not left in any instance.

Standard Delivery

Standard delivery is 3-5 working days for artwork in stock to addresses in UK, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Standard delivery costs £7.95.

Express Delivery

Should you need your artwork in a hurry, we would be only too pleased to try to help. We may be able to get orders for artwork in stock to you within 2 days or even overnight in the UK, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. This is priced at £12.95.

Packaging

We take great care to ensure that your artwork arrives with you in perfect condition. We always pack each piece of art carefully by hand and with appropriate packaging materials to ensure that it is ready to hang on your wall.

International Delivery

We are able to deliver most artwork all over the world. Depending on your location, International delivery takes between 3 -7 working days. A signature is required upon receipt. You will receive your shipping reference number by email. artsaleroom.com is unable to calculate local customs and sales tax with all international deliveries. You may be notified by your local customs authority once your order has reached your country. They may apply customs and sales tax which is to be paid before you may receive your artwork.

If, for any reason, you wish to return your purchase, we will refund or exchange artworks that are sent back to us within 18 days - all we ask is that you return artworks in a saleable condition, with the original packaging intact. Although we are not able to refund P&P charges or returns postage, www.artsaleroom.com will never charge to send an exchange item to you. Please note that we advise you to obtain proof of posting (free from your Post Office) as unfortunately we cannot be responsible for returns.

In the event of a refunded return, we require that you return the artwork (in saleable condition) to us with all the original packaging within 18 days (UK), 21 Days (International) of receiving the artwork. Saleable condition means there are no marks on the artwork and it has been returned to us in its original condition. artsaleroom.com will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been damaged. Please note, artsaleroom.com cannot refund shipping and/or delivery charges whether they be within the UK or abroad. We ask that all International customers are aware that all international customs duties and sales taxes can not be refunded. All artwork purchased on the artsaleroom.com web site must be returned to our head office at the responsibility of the sender. artsaleroom.com cannot be held responsible for items lost or delayed when being returned.

Exchange

In the event of an exchange, artworks are subject to stock availability and the customer will incur any shipping costs for returning artworks to be exchanged. All exchange enquiries can be made by contacting helpfulpeople@artsaleroom.com with 'EXCHANGE' in your subject heading. Exchanged artworks can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received.

How to proceed with your return or exchange

Please email us at helpfulpeople@artsaleroom.com to advise that you would like to make a return or exchange. In your subject heading please state whether you are claiming for a RETURN or EXCHANGE. Indicate whether you would like to make a return or exchange and state the desired artworks for exchange. Exchanges will be subject to our stock availability. Securely wrap and package the artwork with a note detailing your request and please send it to our head office address. Please send your return or exchange to: artsaleroom.com, White House, Gas Street, Birmingham, B1 2JT. We recommend that you send all artworks insured and/ or registered when sent through the mail as we cannot take responsibility for packages, which we do not ship ourselves.

Receiving a refund

Once your package has been returned to us within the above stated timeframe unless otherwise authorized by the artsaleroom.com head office, we will begin to process your refund request. Each artwork will be checked and once verified your refund will be processed in the original payment format. All undamaged, correctly returned artworks will be credited to the original purchasers credit card including VAT for all EU country customers excluding shipping charges. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from artsaleroom.com. Please note: If we receive your return in a condition which we feel is not fit for exchange or refund we shall get in touch with you. artsaleroom.com reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange for any artwork sent back in a condition where the artwork has been used or damaged. Only artworks that artsaleroom.com can confirm are in saleable condition will be eligible for a return or exchange, so that they have reached our returns department within the time frame outlined above (unless otherwise organized).

Gift returns

If someone has sent you a gift from artsaleroom.com but it wasn't quite right, then you can return it in exchange for another piece of artwork. In the event of a gift return, we require that you return the new and unused artwork to us with all the original packaging within 18 days (UK), 21 days (International) of receiving the artwork. Please simply get in touch with our head office to organize an online purchase with your credit note. Please be aware that you will be required to pay any difference in cost and any additional shipping charges.
